Pylon guide list:

There are many pylons scattered around Alyria, each do different things when the colours are set to certain numbers. They appear in towns looking like this:

A tall, rune-covered pylon stands here, the air burning strangely clear around it.

Each pylons can be used, this displays a puzzle that needs to be solved. Once solved the pylon can give different effects.

On the first puzzle you need to use first, use second, use third, use fourth, use fifth, use sixth until both pictures match. Once both match then the pylon will glow and the puzzle will change to colours.

You attempt to manipulate the module but are utterly mystified to its functionality.

There are six malleable regions on the module's face, which must be matched with the module's index before the Pylon atop it activates and receives power.
The first region contains the glyphs \ / X -
The second region contains the glyphs ` , , :
The third region contains the glyphs @ 6 O G
The fourth region contains the glyphs | l i 1
The fifth region contains the glyphs b p q d
The sixth region contains the glyphs W M B K
To alter the face of the module, USE that region and the relevant glyph will iterate within its permutations.

When you USE pylon <region number>, you will see two images. One at the bottom, one at the top. The top one will keep changing upon USEing the pylon. You have to match that to the bottom image.

You modify the first region to show the "first1" glyph:
/\\v\\\
\66`||\ \66`||\ >``O``<
\pp\WW\ \pp\WW\ \\\^\\/
You consult the module index for the necessary modifications. /\\v\\\
\66:||\ \66:||\ >::O::<
\bb:KK\ \bb:KK\ \\\^\\/

In the above example, the first region was altered by doing "use pylon first". Kept doing that until the glyphs in the first region were identical in both pictures. You may have noticed when you "USE pylon first", the symbols in the image's border cycles through

\ / X 0
That's what the pylon's information means by "The first region contains the glyphs \ / X -". Similarly, typing use pylon second will cycle through the green symbols in the top image from
` , , :
and so on. The comma repeating itself is not a mistake.

Once the puzzle has been solved (all symbols in the top image resembling the symbols in the bottom image) it displays the following messages:

A low hum whirrs up within the module, as though a large number of fans started blowing at once.
The glyphs on the module face dim, and the dial indicators on the Pylon spin to life.

The pylon can then be used again to solve the second puzzle.

A tall, rune-covered pylon chirps attentively as you fiddle with the dials on it, its technological display illuminating so you can read its settings:
 3 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 0
To change one of the dials, simply USE PYLON <COLOR> and that dial's setting will increase by one, or reset back to zero.

The numbers cycle between the following:

 red 0-3
 cyan 0-1
 maganta 0-2
 yellow 0-3
 green 0-1

Always do the green number last.

When you have found a working combo it displays the message:

The pylon glows, as do you.

Supposedly 0 1 0 1 1 is the combo for Requiem. Not sure which pylon set that was for though. - Nisin

Did this in rune, xav and sigil and it cast irk on me - Perem

<unknown combination> - produces this emote:

A strange buzz fills the air and then suddenly stops.
A rift appears in time and space, glowing brilliantly!
A glowing rift in time and space forms before a surprised-looking Ithrix.
A rift appears in time and space, glowing brilliantly!
A glowing rift in time and space forms before a surprised-looking Ithrix.
A strange voice invades your mind and informs you that the Ithrix have been temporarily repelled.
(which is visible to all archons)

Duende talked about it on #troll:

Duende@#troll: ' that turns off hunters for 4 days.'
Dyalot@#troll: 'is this effect global or just in rune?'
Duende@#troll: ' global'
Dyalot@#troll: 'and are we talking alyrian days or rl?'
Bahamutt@#troll: 'can you still attract them or no?'
Duende@#troll: ' alyrian'
(The effect lasted 2 Alyrian days. Attracting didn't work.)

- the effect seems to last 1 real life hour (4 Alyrian hours) now.
- If the pylon disables hunters, then the pylon becomes unusable for 1 real life day.
- the Rune pylon seems to have the highest likelihood of disabling hunters - TBC.

Pylon's Decoded - Digit's Theory by Deathray

The 5 digit codes have a fairly consistent pattern, but the actual affects are different each crash or reboot.

 Red 0-3, First Digit
0-2 are for grant skill use and self affects
3 is for random room affects to others; also, the best way of triggering temporary hunter disable.
 Cyan 0-1, Second Digit
Unknown/vague as the patterns indicate it's directly tied to what you use in the first digit.
 Maganta 0-2, Third Digit
0 is for *Spell: the aura of the glyp - Level 241, modifies hp by -666 for 60 minutes.
1 is for *Spell: the aura of the glyp - Level 241, modifies spell-points by -500 for 60 minutes.
2 is for *Spell: the aura of the glyp - Level 241, modifies stamina by -1000 for 60 minutes.
 Yellow 0-3, Fourth Digit
Unknown/vague as the patterns indicate it may be directly tied to what you use in the first and second digits.
 Green 0-1, Fifth Digit
   This is the activation digit.
   0 is off
   1 is on
