Beltane Altaar

Availability: 30 minute standard zone repop.

Beltane Altaar has changed tactics in the last several years and is now more of a DPS race of a boss. A group of 3+ can take him on, but he does summon storm dragons which can quickly become overwhelming if they are not dealt with. You can calm and kill the adds or zerg the boss by the form pumping damage into the boss before the adds can become too overwhelming.

Preparation

Check mems, reagents and some form of dispel area.

To locate Beltane Altaar you will need to randomly check the eight paths, four on either side of Maldra Keep for him. Simply follow each path to the end and kill the unique mob at the end for a key and unlock the door, check the room beyond for him.

There are paralyzing mobs on the paths, as well as CPK on some and death traps, so be sure to look into rooms at interections and the death traps can be seen as no exit rooms when looked into.

Beltane Altaar encounter

He will cast basic spells such as web, silence and a few others, and doesn't really have much HP.

Note: Killing him can award the Mark of Victory.

There is a small blue aura, barely visible, which surrounds the robe that keeps the lava both in a liquid state, and within the confines of the material. The robe does not put out any heat, but it is certainly heavy. You never realized lava weighed this much.
