Beltane Altaar is a very minor run that can be soloed pretty easy by a hero or archon.
Preparation
Check mems, reagents and some form of dispel area.
To locate Beltane Altaar you will need to randomly check the eight paths, four on either side of Maldra Keep for him. Simply follow each path to the end and kill the unique mob at the end for a key and unlock the door, check the room beyond for him.
There are paralyzing mobs on the paths, as well as CPK on some and death traps, so be sure to look into rooms at interections and the death traps can be seen as no exit rooms when looked into.
Beltane Altaar encounter
He will cast basic spells such as web, silence and a few others, and doesn't really have much HP.
Note: Killing him can award the Mark of Victory.

Beltane Altaar apparantly spent a great deal of time and magic to create
this cloak made from pure constantly flowing lava. There is a small blue
aura, barely visible, which surrounds the robe that keeps the lava both in a
liquid state, and within the confines of the material. The robe does not
put out any heat, but it is certainly heavy. You never realized lava
weighed this much.
