Preparation:
This boss is part of the end of a chain of bosses starting with Khrth, Servant of Kal'Tor?. But first obtain a book titled 'A True Account of the Founding of Colyon' available from a lootable at The House on the Bluff (326843) in The Village of Colyon. Amulet of earthquake resistance purchasable from Lord Maldra is recommended but not necessary.
Khrth
This boss only takes 4 players maximum but requires 5 to get into the area.
- Ensure everyone is not wearing removable-in-safe torso armor
- Goto Wealthy Residence (62624) in The Towne of New Rigel and wearing around +70 search, search and retrieve an unset teletrap
- Now split off to kill 5 prison wardens simultaneously in Lowangen, Vospire, Unseelie, Cavhfail and Templeton (Thanatosis). The Cavhfail warden has a ton of hp so bring it to barely clinging before initiating a countdown to kill.
- Each warden needs to drop a key of benediction on the floor when they die. If one doesn't, you must wait for all to repop/be alive to try again.
- If all drop, head quickly to Jail Cell (41496) in Tellerium and give minotaur key
- On success with all 5 keys handed in, the five players who gave keys will be teleported into the prison.
Prison area
- Go all down, and east until you hit a guard, kill the guard and get a key.
- Continue east into the maximum security area and use the unset teletrap. This will take that one player into a storage room with 4 suits. Pick up the suits and leave into the intake office.
- Other players go back west until there is a south and use the key you got from the guard earlier to open to free the suit player.
- Have 4 players wear suits then return to the maximum security area and start killing guards, they will drop corresponding suit color keys to doors southeast of them.
- The 4 suit players then enter their individual pathways which will lead to the boss Khrth.
IMPORTANT NOTE
DO NOT SWITCH YOUR SUIT IN THE BOSS ROOM! BAD THINGS HAPPEN:
Without the a red stasis suit to protect you, you are instantly crushed into a hexagonal prism a few molecules wide.

You will be reduced to 1 hp and the suit will disappear. If this happens you have to get a suit from another player to leave.
Khrth Boss fight
- Deals mental lash melee
- Entering the room will be anti-magic but starting combat will turn this flag off
- Casts corrode weapon, dampening field, etheric pollution, harrow, ode to the moon, negation, ice wind
On death he will drop a a concealed key for a safe which you will need for later.
Have everyone return to their individual paths out to the maximum security area. If the guard west has repopped, kill him again for a key. Then return to the intake office and kill the 3 guards there (you can cast in there). This will get you the key going north. You can now decide to whether or not kill a senior captain of the Yoravy force.
To exit or a senior captain of the Yoravy force
- Use the key to the locked door north and kill the 4 guards in there (aggro).
- If you decide to skip this boss, just flee west and go up to exit
- After all the guards are dead, get the key to unlock the east, this will lead to the boss room.
A senior captain of the Yoravy force boss fight
- 5 guards will form on the boss
- Kill guards first + detective (boss will keep defaulting to next target). If you don't kill all the other npcs off before boss dies, it does not count as a boss kill!
- Can flee west but beware of guards repopping in that room.
- Unlock the chest after and loot the corrupt living armor of jhepps (bind on take)
- 2 west and up to exit.
Opening the way to the Magus of Kal'Tor
- Have the player with the concealed key for a safe return to Wealthy Residence (62624) in The Towne of New Rigel, go north and dig down to reveal a locked door. Open and go down to retrieve a package wrapped in brown butcher paper
- Head to Peachtree Tavern (41807) in Tellerium and kill the half-drunk patron for a butter knife from the bar kitchen
- Unlock the package and take out the warden's admantite key
- With everyone having the Colyon book mentioned at the start, head to Justicar Way (150858) in Arien'dyth. Unlock south and then 2 south, all east, south and down and follow the path till it turns CPK. Boss will be NW in a private room.
Magus of Kal'Tor Fight
- Solo
- Summons
- Oozes prevent fleeing and can scream paralyze
Once he is dead, everyone can file through one-by-one through the linear path into the portal. This will take you to the Obsidian Tear.
The Red-Winged Overseer
- Once everyone has entered the portal, follow the path north until you enter a CPK west. The form leader must rest here.
- South is a room called An Unstable Plank. Players must file through this room one by one going south. Form lead goes last.
- From here (The Topside of An Excavated Stalactite) go southwest southeast. You will see the boss south of you.
Boss fight
- Can kick the tank north with an emote
the red-winged overseer performs a dazzling acrobatic move involving legs and fire and wings, which results in Safeguard flying far to the north.

- Starts super damaging earthquakes that WILL KILL (amulet of earthquake resistance helps, gnome divine will make you immune)
- Summons 2 adds "A disciple of Kal'Tor"
- Has relatively low hp
- Recommended to kill quickly, loot and run into the dt (non-pk rooms surrounding platform) so you don't die to the earthquake in CPK. Else you can run back to where you entered in on the portal (remember to file 1 by 1 on the Unstable Plank room) and word of recall out.
