Preparation


Encounter

 For every non-unique PC or NPC added to the area, her stats are raised. I've also tried giving 2 vials to my mount so I could carry 4 total but it seems that the ones on the mount will just evaporate.

 Fighting her is easy, just do damage. Backstab until unstabbable, then just equip your highest damage weapon and spam your highest damage spells. At level 120, she casts hex and malignancy frequently, and less frequently  blind, change sex, silence and curse.

 The tricky part is that she snowblinks which stone curses. It is now properly checking SVPetri. She also pulls out a spellbook and requests that a spell can be cast. If you cast the spell she'll become satisfied and less likely to instantly kill you while stone cursed. 

 Note: If you overcast during the round that she petrifies you, and that spell happens to initiate combat, you will start combat again if the spell lands whilst still being stone cursed. You will deal and take combat damage as normal but not be able to do anything else.

 If you kill her when she is casting, you won't be stone cursed at the end. Otherwise she'll defiantly stone curse the whole form when she dies. This is really only a problem if you're low on health and might die from the cold room effects. Also turn off auto-loot before you kill as she carries cursed voodoo dolls.

Note: as of July 2011, the form leader can no longer move the stone cursed tank out of the room to avoid combat. She has a random chance to instant-kill the stone cursed person while they are in her room.


Loot

Rarely she'll drop Kessler's Lost Reagent to allow magic casting in Tellerium temporarily.

When she is slain, clear the area of gorgonlings and go to the very bottom with unblessed vials to create vials of gorgon's blood. These vials can be dropped in the same room as the stone items or NPCs equal to your class level to create a useful item, or dropped in the room of items outside of your class level for 12pp, 50qp, 50,000 gold or a mark value of experience worth about 12.

Two marks are involved, Animation and Chains. They both have only one reward, which are random vital manuals for 33 hp, sp or st.

The statues near the beginning can also be raised with gorgon blood, but often they'll give you no rewards and just run off.

Note: Previously, entering the zone further than a few rooms required the use of a rope, bought in the Dusty Traveler in Xaventry?. As of July, 2011 this has been changed, allowing players to enter the zone fully, all the way to the gorgon animator. However, once at the gorgon, you will seemingly not be able to get out. Upon trying to move "south" out of the area, it will give you a message about not being able to climb over the wall. If you do not have a rope, simply spam south until you pop out over the wall.

Railin- I was level 170 when I grabbed this information, but the numbers like her level seem like it's a consistant thing, and that all that changes is her hp and spells known maybe. But, if it helps any at all, here's her aura. Gorgonlings are Eth formed until the animator is dead.

Mystical and mysterious, the enchanted Ruby of Ragradorg is a fabled thing,
although terming this one as such is something of a misnomer. Not the
actual Ruby of Ragradorg, or even a facsimile thereof, this ringed Ruby of
Ragradorg is a chip off of a cheap of the actual Ruby, hewn and ground down
to a scale copy. It has magical powers, and strange, revolving bands that
surround it and make it difficult to hold, and so it's good enough to keep,
even if it's not authentic.

While this bokken is technically a mere practice sword, without much of a
blade, and a protective tip to avoid actually stabbing anyone with it, it is
still a treasured artifact of the esteemed, feared, and powerful family
Nayar. A ghostly green flame dances around the blade, vaguely threatening,
but more enthralling, and slightly enticing.

Published by the prolific, well-known and frankly somewhat annoying
missionaries of Uath based in Sigil, this tome represents the majority of
the beliefs of the religion's following. Belief in Uath, a deity that deals
primarily with luck, redemption and laxity, is obviously a somewhat non-
standard affair, with very few rigid structures or rituals. It is a happy
religion, whose followers build places of gambling alongside and inside
their places of worship. This tome, while holy, also espouses having fun,
and if anyone were so inclined, could probably use this book' teachings to
recruit some new followers of their own.

Proving Grounds, help its wearer admonish all NPCs on that level to become
better individuals, and make them leave the Proving Grounds, leaving their
possessions behind.

When you look inside, you see:

Most coal buckets look the same, and this one is no exception.  It looks
like a coal bucket.  Its existence is pretty much that of a bucket which is
full of coal, due to the fact that after carrying coal, buckets aren't good
for much else, especially due to the fact that buckets that carry coal
generally aren't too high up on the bucket hierarchy in the first place.
