Preparation

Encounter

Every couple of rounds Sloonsnar will cast vacuum evocation, and appear to not be in the room. His disappearing emote is: The whole world seems to darken in the presence of the voracious black hole.

So it is helpful to have a wizard in form or someone who can quickly dispel the vacuum to continue fighting. When vacuum evocation is dispelled, Sloonsnar will soon "reappear" in the room when this emote happens: The whole world seems to darken in Sloonsnar, Star Eater Supreme's presence.

Other spells and affects Sloonsnar does via emoting: color spray, energy orb, enervation, berserker rage (adds to your damage but you lose HP in some game ticks), etheric pollution (twice the SP cost of spells).

Exercise usual caution, conserve SP, regenerate when required and Sloonsnar should be a fairly easy boss kill.

(Red Aura) A massive hand reaches towards you from the sky.

Several hundred feet tall and voracious, the Star Eater Supreme is a force
of nature. He twinkles like the night sky, fading in and out of focus and
never really existing except as an inevitable cause of death.
He is a parasite approximately 800'0" tall.
Sloonsnar, Star Eater Supreme is in good health.
Sloonsnar, Star Eater Supreme is an NPC Boss and is more advanced than a regular NPC.

Sloonsnar, Star Eater Supreme is a 74 year old, level 450 Parasite.
Sloonsnar, Star Eater Supreme is immune to: bash pierce slash lightning poison negative disease light earth

Although each of the races described by most as 'genies' are similar and
originate from the Astral Plane, any banished (or voluntarily leave) for the
Physical Plane, they have very different preferences in terms of the
environments into which they settle. Associating themselves with the
terroir, the efreeti not only take great care in the selection of the land
where they take up residence, they seem to have a preternatural affinity for
sandy, dry places. The efreeti sandpriests are extremely rare, but vaunted
far beyond their actual numbers.

Although their existence is more rumor than evidence, occasionally fragments
of their existence filter out to those who do not dwell in the harshest
deserts. Sandpriests are unlike most other religious adherents, in that
they do not revere that which is superior to them, but the most harsh,
inhospitable and barren climate available. It is not widely known why they
do so, but they have unquestionably become masters of their domain.

Item 'heavy, protective obsidian wristguards' is type jewelry, alignment 0, made of obsidian (in (new) condition),

Affects ar by 2.
Affects extra-defense-speed by -20.

The gauntlets don't look impressive, and in fact, they look downright
brittle. Carefully chipped from brittle igneous rock, they look heavy and
inflexible. Yet the unnamed island from which Ystrade originates has turned
a pretty profit, selling them worldwide upon the promise of their magical
durability. They are too heavy to even move extremities with, but they do
indeed provide plenty of protection at the cost of mobility.

a fallen star of icy blue (drops on the ground), required for mark of Astronomy.

Level 10 item 'a fallen star of icy blue' is type treasure, with keywords 'slowlydyingstar fallen star icy blue'.
*This item may be repaired 5 times.
Like a fallen celestial body, this star twinkles and shines bright,
identifying itself in a special and inimitable way. Although tactile and
distinctly present, this star is untouchable, as though it were imaginary,
despite being quite real. What this star was doing in the presence of a
dragon is a mystery, as is how it might be possible to return it to the sky,
but hopefully someone, somewhere will know how.

Item 'a stone wing' is type armor, alignment 0, made of stone (in (new) condition),

This item weighs 0 stones and 17 pebbles, and is valued at 56,600 gold. {Cat. 1}
This level 241 item has the attributes: unbreakable untaintable-affects
Armor resistance is 32 pierce, 31 bash, 32 slash, and 31 exotic.
*This item may be repaired 4 times.
This is part of the 'The Stone Wings of an Elder Gargoyle' set.
- Item 'a stone wing'
- Item 'a tattered wing of stone'
Grants knowledge of 'harrow' at 100% (Requires 2 items).
Gargoyles don't bleed easy, and doing much more damage than that is even
tougher. The amount of force necessary to pull this wing off of a gargoyle,
not to mention the ruckus that must've caused, might be an indicator of the
trouble that could follow by wearing this. Yet it fits so snugly as a wing
casing, and would provide so much protection, while simultaneously, somehow,
granting increased powers of flight. It's strange, but so seductive.
