Background
Years ago, an expeditionary team sent by Ilandrama set out down into the Great Alyrian Underground tasked with exploring the subterranean frontiers. They were last seen setting sail from Three Bearded Jake's? on the vessel of the infamous pirate, Damryn, in order to chart the western coast of the underworld sea. The team eventually discovered a small island to the east, and upon seeing signs of habitation, decided to explore the mysterious place. Professor Varda spearheaded the exploration effort, but soon lost contact with the rest of Ilandrama. Overcome with worry, his wife Bendira took command of a small squad from Ilandrama and set out towards the dark island in a rescue effort. Sadly, to this day, none of the team have returned, the whereabouts of Varda and his beloved Bendira unknown. To the scourges of the underworld sea, they may rest easier knowing that the dreaded swashbuckler Damryn has been lost to the clutches of the 'Sea Hag' too. Or has he? Are any of them still alive?
Poised at the height of her sinister tower, Ravella, the malevolent Sea Hag, controls all on this evil island. Danger teems around every bend as only the bravest and most cunning adventurers seek their fortunes here. It is not only physical strength that enables survival here, but it is the mental cunning of the adventurer that makes the difference between success and failure, or life and death.
