Location: Curse of Xazra or Random Area
Levels: 240+
Boss Kill: 240+
Availability: Wherever he is found
Marks:

Preparation Locate a barbarian from a far-off land in any area outside of Curse of Xazra. A divination tray can be used to summon him, but he has been known to teleport away from his summoned location if it's not in a (C)PK area - TBC.

Encounter

He can be fully spelled up and he does not aggro. Sometimes he will emote confusion on the tank. He also does a high damage emote with his claymore, where he can aim it directly at the tank, or everyone in the room. He can do this even when he's out of combat and you have just calmed the fight. So if you need to heal, it's important to calm with enough hp left to survive one more out-of-combat emote and walk out as fast as possible. (You may notice that his emote may kill some mobs present in the room, when you walk out and hear their death cries). Other than that, he is a standard boss with nothing complicated. Keep the tank and yourself healed (as well as any NPCs you want to keep alive in the formation).

Once possessed by the almond-brained warrior leader Thundarr, this ring
started out as little more than a primitive set of brass knuckles, before
the discovery of brass. After decades of use by him, the ring gained almost
mythic powers, and came to be (falsely) regarded as the source of his
legendary strength and prowess. It certainly didn't hurt, though.

The highlander people are a primitive tribe of herdsmen from the far north
of Alyria, nomads originating on a concealed island that few have heard of
and fewer still have traveled to. Their tools are made of fine materials,
although frequently inappropriate for their specific uses. Ice hammers,
silk spoons and marble swords are among the better-known goods they attempt
to sell to travelers they meet, frequently without success. However, their
lack of knowledge in the material sciences are not even the biggest reason
for this failure; it is their enormous sizes, for the highlanders are of
enormous strength, typically crushing any tool to dust that is not the size
of a yak. This sword is one such example.

Item 'a highlander's field kilt' is type armor, alignment 0, made of cloth (in (new) condition),

Worn by the northern highlanders into battle, these kilts are frequently
the only armor that the barbarians wear. It is not even armor, but heavy
burlap; perhaps enough to make a mace bash or sword slash not kill, but
maybe just maim. However, the lack of protection and solitary equipment of
the kilt necessitate that only the strongest survive, hardening their skin,
increasing their courage and fighting prowess. Armor shields and permits
weaklings to survive. These kilts are only worn by the most
battle-hardened, strongest warriors of the tribe.
