This quest [3309] is called 'The Spiritual Mender', for Adventurers levels 241 to 250.
This is a TUTORIAL. It provides no rewards, but teaches you about Alyria.
The shaman has a tremendously close connection with the spirits of the land.
Whether these spirits represent the animals of the land or even the Powers
themselves, shamans have the ability to communicate with them and draw upon
their power.  Famously nomadic and often neutral, you never know where you
might find a shaman and whose side they might be on.  The ideal shaman is a
fierce protector of their allies, both through healing and curing magics and
through dangerous offensive spells.  
Tutorial quests do not grant rewards.
This quest has no time limit.

The interior of the shield is a solid mass of fused roots, as smooth as a
sanded dowel- but the exterior is nothing but brambles, thorns and stinging
nettles.

the target of the bramble shield's bash.
