In the towne of Lowangen, a depressed romantic stands on the streets in the northeast part of town. If there are other NPCs in his room, kill them first, then walk in and out of his room until he talks to you. Once he speaks, he will ask you for a manual starting with acid blast. Give him the manual he asks for, and he will ask for the next one in alphabetical order going through spells first then skills second. Not every spell or skill in the game is needed, -only- 301. When completed, you will be awarded the Mark of Profession and a bag will random gear/items in it. This is a crapshoot - some people have reported getting awesome items, and some people have reported getting junk.
Give the depressed romantic every spell manual in order sorted semi-alphabetically.
