This human skull lies on the road, very ordinarily.  There is no body,
nor any other factors.  It is merely a skull, staring southward, sitting
upright in the center of the road.  The eye sockets are a little bigger than
usual, and the jaw is slightly smaller than usual, but the most
extraordinary thing about it is that a small pentagram has been etched into
the forehead.  It is cleanly cut, with no breaks, cracks or other
irregularities; aside, of course, for being a pentagram carved into a skull.
Its cleanliness looks as though it was of magical origin, most likely
created before the skull was extracted was the flesh.  In any case, it is
very creepy.

Although it's not quite either religious or warrior's gear, this yarmulke

of gorgon's scales.  Scrubbed into obscurity, the scales are no longer
reflective, but will stop a blade enough to save the wearer's life.  Even
that might be unnecessary, however, since an overwhelmingly good aura seems
to surround the headgear, almost as if Vandyne itself was smiling down upon
it.

just man, Raymatus understood that things could not always be that way. 
Blood spills, lives end, battles are waged, and that is the way life is
lived.  Although the saintly life is one to be admired, it is not as perfect
as some make it out to be.  The best leaders are those that realize that war
is as vital as peace, and a balance of the two is the healthiest way to
embrace life.  This silver-plated battle crown is that paradoxical
harmoniousness personified.  Gorgeously made, it is an implement of
destruction, to force peace.  The hypocrisy inherent to preserving the
peaceful lifestyle was not lost upon the original wearer of this crown.  The
tenet of many once and future leaders, to spread peace and goodwill, but to
not be afraid to bloody swords in the process, holds true but rings false. 
Nevertheless, men have for eternity ascribed to such an approach, and
farbeit for Raymatus to shirk his royal duties.  The battle crown is a
special icon, and it is well taken care of, polished and spit-shined. 
Although somewhat small, the crown looks like it could be wedged on just
about anyone's head.  Anyone but a minotaur's, that is.  Although most
helmets are easily altered for the bovine-inclined with a pair of scissors
or a smelter, to touch this fine piece of armor like that would be a
travesty.

Multitudes of sharpened iron edges serve as both offense weaponry and
breathable airholes, all across the face of this fullhelm.  A thin slit
allows for its wearer's requisite sight needs, and a valiant flume allows
its wearer their due fineness.  Bolts and fasteners strap their way around
the helm, making it quite difficult to remove.  Interestingly enough, it
seems to be fit for an enormous dragon, although you could probably still
manage to jam it on.

This ancient helmet, constructed from lava-forged steel, is rumored to have
once been worn by one of the Dragon Lords.  There are many unfamiliar runes
engraved upon it, inscribed in a language unknown to you.  As you put it on,
a multitude of voices can be heard in your mind, whispering words of comfort
and protection.  While you do feel more confident, it detracts from your
ability to focus on the tasks at hand.

creature to fight a formed PC, to blow a gust of air at its wielder's
opponent's formation, at a rate of 7% per each additional formation member
in the opponent's formation than its wielder's formation, or twice that if
its wielder is unformed.  

+++ the Dragon Lord helm will, when its bearer commands one of the five
dragons beholden to the Dragon Lord "I demand your allegiance.", ensure that
dragon's absolute allegiance to its bearer.

subjects?"  Inform its bearer who each of the five dragons has allegiance
to.
