The Rune Crystal Guild is located in Rune north off of Rowan Road, two west and one north from Rune Courtyard. The Rune Crystal Guild is run by Tadamir.
Tadamir can sell you a scroll with the location of a crystal. You can buy a scroll by using the shop buy 1 command (20000 gold) or shop buy 2 (50000 gold). After successful completion of the quest, you will receive rewards of QP, PP, gold, and possibly astral baubles or summoning stones. There is a 4 game hour (1 RL hour) cooldown between requesting scrolls. You will not be able to request a new crystal guild until your previous crystal guild has decayed.
- For 20000 gold the Crystal will always be on the plane of Alyria.
- For 50000 gold the Crystal will be in either the Faerie Plane, Sigil Underground, or the Decaran Underground.
On the scroll is a Wizard Eye view of the area. The goal is to find the exact center of the view, obtain the white or pink crystal, and return it to Tadamir before it decays. A crystal lasts roughly five to six RL hours before it decays.
Rewards are as follows:
- For 20000 gold scrolls, you will receive 7-40 QP, 1-6 PP, and 35000 gold.
- Base rewards of 1-4 PP are given for crystals found in non-NPK areas of Alyria.
- Base rewards of 4-5 PP are given for crystals found in NPK areas of Alyria, such as Beltane.
- The PP reward can be increased by 20% by the Rune Mayor through setting of specific flags in Tadamir's room.
- You will also receive either an astral bauble or summoning stone. The astral bauble and be HELD and USEd to obtain 5000 more gold, should you not need astrals.
- For 50000 gold scrolls, you will receive 50-75 QP, 10-15 PP, and 75000 gold.
- Sayto Tadamir 'badge' to add a Crystal Guild quest counter to your score.
