May want to have an higher level assist in opening the boss area, as some of the mobs in the crypt are quite tough for a second classer.
The boss room is no-regen, so you might want to grab some healing items such as the staff of life from Templeton etc.
There are 3 "use" items in the crypts, 1 on the far east side (from safe, north, east, south, all east), one east of safe, the last 2 west, 2 north, 2 west from safe. When all three are used within several to a dozen minutes of each other, a west opens from 2 west, 3 north of safe. Your higher level friend can assist with this portion.
The west that opens up is level restricted - likely from 90 to 145. Level 159 has been confirmed as too high to enter. From the west that opens up, go 2 north and east to find the boss.
The boss room itself, as well as the rooms before it are no-regen, so you might not want to use bash/charge etc. Additionally, when you need to flee to rest up, you will need to flee east and go 2 south to the regen room to recover. The area itself also saps a little bit of sp (about 40 or so) per tick.
The fight itself is relatively simple. The Undead Angel can be dispelled (removing haste helps), casts desecrate armor, and uses the voodoo-doll stab thing Jake does for very minor damage.
Do note that mobs from the crypt can sometimes be found in the boss room / area, which makes the fight a bit more annoying.
The boss kill grants the Mark of Caprice.
The boss also drops a mage class specific bracelet.
