A transparent mirror slime is a straightforward boss located in Cavhfail Keep. If using MUSH client, the boss is found in room number 199247, A Dusty Storage Room. In order to access this area, you must first secure entrance to Cavhfail Keep by obtaining the Cavhfail Keep Password.
If you're not using MUSH client, you will need to head down to the lower level, west side south through secret passage.
Preparation:
Standard buffs and debuffs. Boss is in NPK room and low-regen with a high-regen room to the east of him.
Encounter:
The slime does not cast any spells in combat or appear to script any particular damage. I should note that the slime was immune to bash and slash, so I used racial h2h (water dmg for sahuagin). It may be that it is immune to standard weapon types like slash/bash/pierce.
Attacking the slime will cause acid to spew out of it, and a mirror shard will emerge from the boss and fall onto the ground. The slime will attempt to analyze you (I don't know what this does), but if you hold and equip the mirror, it stops the slime from doing his thing--I think healing itself. This dude really wasn't too tough. He went down within a few rounds with h2h + spamming telekinetic punch. If you ever need to flee, you can flee east into a high-regen room.
