Intermediate? Level Invasion

Primary Objective: a wizard watcher
Secondary Objective: total annihilation of attacking parties

(description TBA)

Battle Strategy

At least 2 forms consisting of 5-6+ archons with subsequent heroes is ideal for this invasion. Keep the primary tank in position FC of a shield form structure. Have a secondary tank as the last person to enter the room (presumably position FFR) as some mobs will aggro that last person. All form members should be fully spelled up and have triggers/aliases to rewear Sanc at all times. Some of the NPC forms will deal form damage, so all members must be ready to flee as soon as they fall to about 50% HP. Heroes will most likely not be able to sustain the damage for very long, and must flee out to heal up rather than try to heal during combat. All fighters also much be invisible at all times.

Kill order is very important in this invasion. If the kill order is messed up, the consequences are incredibly difficult to combat.

Common Groups and Strategy

Centaurs

Attack Order:

 1st - centaur bard
 2nd - medicine men
 last - archers

General Info:

Fairly straight forward, no special rules or tactics. Doesn't deal much damage against the tank.
All can be fully spelled up including ff, curse, plague and slow. Any damage type is ok.

Galeb Duhrs

A galeb duhr big enough to rockclimb and rappel off commands the area.

Attack Order:

 1st - bouldering
 2nd -rocky
 last - gravelly / pebbles

Important Notes:
The Bouldering-worthy Duhr may emote to have all others mobs in the room to form up. When/if this happens, the damage is unsustainable against one person. You might be able to TKW them apart (HOW did not work.) Do not cast, and do not heal to avoid this emote from happening.

A bouldering-worthy galeb duhr beats its extremities against its midsection, roaring mightily from its mouthless topsection.
A rocky galeb duhr claps, creating a small avalanche in assent.
A rocky galeb duhr joins a bouldering-worthy galeb duhr's formation.

A gravelly galeb duhr joins a bouldering-worthy galeb duhr's formation.
A gravelly galeb duhr joins a bouldering-worthy galeb duhr's formation.

If this happens, have everyone BASH / FLEE UNFORMED from each other until it is dead. It is vital that they not get a chance to form, so kill them in the appropriate order.

Attack Order:

 1st - grunts
 2nd - mercs
 last - sapper

General Info:
Kill the sapper last, because it is the leader of the form and will cause the entire form to join up against the tank. If they accidentally form up, their form can be broke by TKW.

Satyrs

A satyr with endlessly black eyes mutters spells beneath his breath.
A towering satyr wearing a loincloth and a hellish grin looms.

Individual NPCs

A centaur bard

A centaur dances around in a circle, playing her panpipes.

This delicate centaur twirls and pirouettes about with reckless abandon,
stopping only to ensure that she doesn't miss a note, or skip a beat. Her
pipes bellow forth with a captivating and melodious tune. Her slender
fingers, strengthened from years spent performing before fascinated
audiences, move over her instrument with the staccato beat of a light autumn
rain.
She is a centaur approximately 7'1" tall.

Attacks:

A centaur medicine man

A grizzled centaur with a beard down to his forelegs gallops about frantically.

Half human and half horse, this veteran centaur trots back and forth
restlessly, twirling his lengthy ashen beard around his fingers all the
while. His wrinkled, rose-colored body appears weathered and aged beyond
its years from a long, hard life in the mountains. His pale, yellow eyes
are surrounded by folds of sun-aged skin. This shaman has been trained
thoroughly in the mystic arts of the mountain dwellers, but quite possibly
may have been driven mad in the process.
He is a centaur approximately 7'0" tall.

Attacks:

A centaur archer

Attacks:

A bouldering-worthy galeb duhr

A galeb duhr big enough to rockclimb and rappel off commands the area.

A veritable mountain of a galeb duhr, this creature's form is mostly made up
of giant boulders, which can only be bound together by the strongest of
arcane magicks. Vast mineral and ore deposits line the spaces between the
massive slabs of stone. The occasional tree pokes outward from its form,
serving as a constant reminder as to how large this monolith truly is.
It is a galeb duhr approximately 15'9" tall.

Attacks:

A rocky galeb duhr

A galeb duhr composed of fist-sized stones paces angrily, awaiting action.

This giant galeb duhr is made up of small, fist-sized stones. As it plods
back and forth, these spherules crash together, like boulders in a perpetual
rockslide. It certainly is a clumsy creature, momentarily ejecting a stone
on occasion from itself, which it immediately flounders after. None of this
does anything to diffuse the visible displeasure afflicting this beast. If
nothing else, it only serves to heighten the levels of its irritation, which
doesn't bode well for the unfortunate soul destined to cross its path.
It is a galeb duhr approximately 10'8" tall.

Attacks:

A gravelly galeb duhr

An animate grouping of magically-bound pebbles glares about without eyes.

This particular galeb duhr has taken a humanoid-like form. It lumbers about
dreadfully, not unlike an ogre or a hill-giant, only one made up of tiny
pebbles that are bound together by arcane magicks. Whatever force or being
that willed these stones together neglected to allot any of them for the
creature's eyes, the lack of which makes glaring about painfully difficult.
Nonetheless, the brute meanders on, staring to and fro, looking for
something... Something to use as its eyes, perhaps.
It is a galeb duhr approximately 7'1" tall.

Attacks:

A kobold sapper

A kobold sits atop a barrel, giving orders and strapping dynamite to himself.

Kobold military tacticians aren't particularly famous in armchair
strategists' circles, for a good reason. The primary cause of this is that
their military tactics are terrible. When courage is both cause for
battlefield promotion, and obtained by sacrificing oneself into enemies,
typically with dynamite, there is typically a surfeit of good leadership
available. This sapper, the most senior kobold officer in the troops right
now, is doing his duty as best he can, attempting to direct the grunts and
sneakers as best he can, until his dynamite vest is prepared.
He is a kobold approximately 5'6" tall.

Attacks:

A kobold mercenary

A tough-looking, calloused kobold stands at the ready, prepared for battle.

Kobolds are a particularly nasty bunch. The bad skin, foul body odor and
long claws are generally enough to turn any adventurer's stomach. Add this
mercenary's bleeding, open wounds and jagged horns to the mix, and it's
enough to send one screaming for the hills. Proficent in the ways of
battle, this warrior would use his considerable skill and risk certain doom
for just about anything or anybody -- that is, so long as they were able to
meet his steep asking price in gold.
She is a kobold approximately 5'5" tall.

Attacks:

A kobold grunt

A hairy kobold shifts uncomfortably, scratching its armpits with its offhand.

This grey-skinned creature leaves much to be desired. His body is covered
in thick, dark hair and reeks of an odor reminiscent of a rotting carcass.
Massive scar-covered arms made for manual labor show this creature may be
able to put up a fight although the perpetually-confused look across his
face says it may not be a particularly difficult fight.
He is a kobold approximately 5'5" tall.

Attacks:

A satyr animator

A satyr with endlessly black eyes mutters spells beneath his breath.

This strange creature has a look of darkness that surrounds him, almost as
if the light around him disappears. His face is shrouded in a large cowl
and a large animal skull sits atop his head. The various amulets that adorn
his neck pulsate from the evil magic contained within. He begins to cackle
as another soulless minion is raised under his complete control.
He is a satyr approximately 5'6" tall.

Attacks:

A satyr commander

A towering satyr wearing a loincloth and a hellish grin looms.

War paint covers this massive satyrs entire body. From the deep, red hue of
his designs, you guess that he is actually covered in blood. His cloth
covering is made of some large animal, most likely a predatory cat. His
large nostrils flare as he grows tired of you staring him up and down and
the veins in his neck begin to bulge.
He is a satyr approximately 7'4" tall.

Attacks:

A sneaky brigand

A short humanoid form lurks in the shadows, biding time.

Out of the corner of your eye you catch a glimpse of a lanky man hiding in
the shadows. He is shrouded in a deep grey cloak with a hood covering most
of his face. A slight motion from within reminds you of the slow twirl of a
dagger underneath. As he shifts his weight from one foot to the other, you
hear the clink of change no doubt from the purses of unsuspecting victims.
He is a satyr approximately 5'5" tall.

Attacks:

A troll lurker

A long-limbed troll hangs above you, waiting to get the drop.

Nigh impossible to draw a bead on, this gangly troll gently weaves in and
out of the shadows. The scoundrel's light-green skin blends improbably into
the immediate surroundings. So well is it camoflauged that one would find
it hard to tell where the walls end and the troll's body begins, presuming
one even knew where to look for this stealthy creature. Two bulging
trollish eyes protrude out of its head as it quickly glances around, no
doubt looking for any unattended wares that might be quickly snatched up
with minimal effort... Or risk.
It is a troll approximately 10'5" tall.

Attacks:

A rampaging troll berserker

A frenzied, axe-wielding troll is here, grinning murderously.

Breathing heavily through an impressive set of sharp, blood-stained teeth,
this troll seems to be overcome by a ferocious elation -- one achieved
through the destruction its axe has wrought here. And there's been plenty
of that, if the blood dripping from its face, from its axe and from its
bright-orange hair is any indication.
She is a troll approximately 5'2" tall.

Attacks:

A troll chieftain

A particularly large troll with elaborate face tattoos surveys the area.

Balefully taking in his surroundings, this troll lets his gaze linger on you
before moving on. The light-green skin of his face has been tattooed with
intricate blue swirls that must have taken days to painstakingly apply.
Equally impressive are his massive arms, which lay folded across his chest.
He is a troll approximately 5'9" tall.

Attacks:

A renegade wizard

A tall, thin man stands here, twirling his beard with his finger and staring at you.

A gaunt man draped in oversized robes stares at you with a fiery expression.
His hands are pulling on a long, grey beard as if to restrain himself from
causing trouble. His lips begin to move silently as he chants the ancient
words to an unfamiliar spell. Best not linger here much longer.
He is a human approximately 5'8" tall.

Attacks:

A cataleptic mage

A slack-jawed, rigid mage walks here, peering with unseeing eyes.

The milky eyes and slack jaw of this aged, perfectly rigid mage make for a
horrific image, which is made grotesque by the string of drool that pours
from his open mouth and trickles down his long, greasy beard. He floats
around, seeing and not seeing, while a constant low moan escapes from deep
within his being.
He is a human approximately 5'7" tall.

Attacks:

A sorceror's apprentice

A humanoid rat halfbreed struggles to do his master's bidding.

This young man, if he may be called that, struggles about unhappily
performing whatever labor his master requires. Wafts of foul odor emanate
forth from his nappy, hair-covered body, the likes of which put the dumps of
Winton to shame. Long, dull claws protrude from the fingertips of his
smallish, gnome-like hands. Small, beady eyes dart back and forth
nervously, in anticipation of the beatings that generally follow his
displeased master's angry cries.
He is a rodent approximately 4'0" tall.

Attacks:

A black magic familiar

A black raven hobbles around, looking for eyes to pluck.

Black as the darkest of nights, this magically crafted raven flutters
forward with sinister intent. Tail feathers spring forth from its rump not
unlike a bouquet of well-sharpened daggers. Crimson blood drips from its
pointed beak, fresh from the carcass of something unlucky enough to be
caught in the way of its stroll. As small as it is in size, this creature
created by the foulest of black magicks is excessive in unpleasant demeanor.
It is a bird approximately 1'5" tall.

Attacks:

A wizard watcher

A bald man in a white cloak stands here, observing passively.

This wizard's bald head glistens in the light, nearly matching the color of
his cloak. The wizard fixes his intense gaze outward on anything and
everything in the immediate vicinity. This is akin to a witch attempting to
affix something with an evil eye only not nearly as malicious, for it is
this wizard's job to watch and record, and nothing more.
He is a human approximately 5'8" tall.
