At a TBD interval, a portal opens in Lord Agrippa's room. Enter this portal to be transported to the Wizard's Walk, a short 3 room tower that houses Bashedu. Do not walk south, as this will take you through a one-way exit from the area. Alternatively, you can blink around Rune Castle until you land in the Wizard's Walk tower. Bashedu is not aggro, and you can flee from him.
Bashedu casts some nasty spells on the tank, including memory drain, witch spells such as confusion and energy orb, several room effect spells such as ice storm, and bolts. It is helpful to have a psionic handy to cancel conjuration in order to prevent his bolting. As Bashedu nears death, he has a tendency to teleport somewhere else in Rune Castle. To avoid this from happening, have your form spam damage for the last 5-10% of the fight. He has been known to teleport numerous times. Bashedu also likes to cast momentary darkness as he nears death, so either have dispel area handy, have a psionic cancel illusion, or wear a redemption.
